W.I.P. Wednesdays - Caj's Viking

1/31/2018

I've been sick! Oh the joys of winter weather and not taking care of yourself. Anyways, due to my horrible immune system (and my lack of getting a flu shot this year) I haven't done a lot of writing this past week. So, I'm sharing with all of you a snippet from a W.I.P. that I started some time ago but put on the back burner as other characters were talking louder. I hope you enjoy it.

Caj's Viking: Lover of my Past 1

Snippet

Dressed, and his first cup of coffee finished, Caj returned to the kitchen and made up a to-go mug. The mug held two servings, equal to his coffee cup, making it the perfect travel mug. Hot coffee in hand, Caj released a long and a short whistle. Barking greeted his call before two gray Norwegian Elkhounds came rushing out of the bedroom. Caj reached for their leashes, and snapped both of them on before opening the door and letting his two companions out.

“Okay Thor, Freya,” Caj sighed as he locked his door behind him, “We’re meeting Hugo at the docks today.”

Both dogs barked in recognition of his words, and he couldn’t help but smile. He walked leisurely down the sidewalk, enjoying the sound of the buoys in the distance and the gulls overhead. The occasional fog horn could be heard from incoming ships. This small costal town was so calming. It gave him a sense of home to be so close to the ocean. Thor and Freya loved it as well. The beaches provided the perfect places for them to run, outside their yard of course.

The walk to the harbor was twenty minutes, three by car. Caj spotted Hugo sitting on a rock, a sketchbook in hand as he looked out to the lighthouse and then back to his paper. “You had better have one hell of a good reason to drag me out of bed at this time,” Caj snapped as he approached his friend and colleague.

“You know I do,” Hugo replied, never looking up from his sketch. Caj looked over his shoulder and smiled. It was of the lighthouse, with a wave crashing against it. It was incredibly detailed for just a sketch.

“Well,” Caj sat down and released Thor and Freya. He gave two long whistles, signaling them to go play but not stray, “Out with it.”

“Isak,” Hugo said as he smudged a part of the wave to give it more shadow.

Caj’s chest tightened as he looked at his friend. “Don’t fuck with me Hugo. I would know if Isak was in this town.”

“Oh? Well, I’d get that sensor checked, because he’s here,” Hugo closed his book and met Caj’s eyes for the first time since he arrived. Dark brown orbs, almost black, peered into his own blue eyes. “Isak arrived last night. I saw him at Duncan’s Dive.” He handed Caj his cell open to a picture of a man Caj didn’t know. Not physically at least.

He flipped to another photo, one that captured the man’s eyes, and Caj’s entire world spun. He knew those eyes. Those beautiful green eyes, the color of the Scotts Pines back in the dark forests of their origins.

“Isak,” Caj whispered.

“I find it strange how you two always ended up with the same name,” Hugo frowned.

“You know my birth name in this life is Arnold,” Caj grimaced. “I changed it upon turning eighteen. Much to my father’s anger.”

“Yeah, well it seems your boy must’ve done the same,” Hugo stretched his arms over his head and arched his back backward. “I heard several of his shipmates call him Isak last night.”

“Where is he?” Caj asked, standing.

“My guess? On his fishing boat down there,” Hugo pointed to the harbor just a bit in front of them.

Caj released two whistles, one long and short, signaling Thor and Freya to return to his side. Instantly his dogs responded and he was leashing them back up.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Hugo stood and grabbed Caj’s arm before he could head toward the harbor.

“To see Isak,” Caj answered like it was obvious.

“And what? What do you think he’ll say when he sees you?” Hugo demanded.

“Probably the same thing he does every time he sees me,” Caj shrugged. “Don’t I-“

“Don’t I know you?” That voice, rich and yet soft sent a tendril of longing through Caj’s entire body. Turning, ever so slowly, Caj came face to face with the man he’d been searching lifetimes for.
Picture

I'm hoping to have something from my current W.I.P.'s next week. As I recover and regain focus hopefully I'll make progress with writing again. Until then, I hope you enjoyed this snippet! If you did, Like & Share! Until next time!

Today on Author Spotlights I present to you Cree Storm and her first book in Kalil's Coven, Erik's Un Amor!
Picture
Picture

Blurb:

Erik has known that Billy was his un amor since the day the man walked in for the editing job, four months ago. It has not been easy watching Billy walk in and out of the office and act as if the man was not destined to change Erik's life, but how do you tell a man, that is human, you are an enforcer for your vampire coven and he is your mate? Well, some things just can't be put off for long, especially when Erik discovers his mate had been placed in grave danger.

Billy loved his job, as an editor, for Romancing the Readers Publishers, until he made what he thought was the biggest discovery in his career. Telling his boss, their company’s most prize author, Dimitri, is a plagiarist was difficult, but not nearly as difficult as finding out that things really do go bump in the night and the plagiarist author was an evil vampire bent on destroying him.

Will Erik ever get to claim his un amor as his own, or will Billy run when he finds out that they are destined mates and Erik has every intention of sinking his fangs into him before Dimitri can?
Picture

Excerpt:

Billy jerked back at the venomous way Erik had spoken to him. It kind of reminded him of the way Dimitri had a little over a month ago. A time Billy was still trying really hard to forget.

Not sleeping at night was really taking its toll on Billy. He almost regretted fighting Cory so hard about going home, but he had stayed there a week and knew he needed to get back to his life. Putting what happened with Dimitri behind him.

However, in the three weeks since Billy was home, every creak in the floor or groan of his place, had Billy on edge. It seemed like, whenever he tried closing his eyes, he would see Dimitri's glowing red ones and feel those nasty hands on his body.

Billy's had just started sleeping a couple of hours a night, when Erik approached him with another novel, by Dimitri. He was asked to edit it and get it back to the man quickly. The thought of touching anything that nasty beast had touched made Billy's stomach roll. However, he knew it was his job and he wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible.

When he had started reading the book, he had felt like it was déjà vu. Billy knew he had read this story once before, or at least something extremely similar. It was when he had come to the sex scenes that Billy knew exactly where he had seen this story before.

"Billy, I asked you a fucking question and I want an answer right now! Why were you with Dimitri? Is there something going on with you two? Are you fucking him?" Erik snapped.

"I would never..." Cory gasped as he backed quickly towards the door, "Erik, why are your eyes glowing red?  Wh...What's wrong with your teeth?"

Erik realized too late that he had vamped.  He could smell Billy's fear and immediately felt the need to comfort his mate.  The problem was that he was the one to cause his un amor's distress.

"Please Billy, let me explain." Erik beseeched, as he moved slowly towards his mate.

"Cory said I was delusional, but I knew what I saw was right!" Cory said in dismay.

"What the hell are you talking about? Knew you were right about what?" Erik asked.

"About vampires being real. I told Cory I saw Dimitri's eyes turn red, but he didn't believe me, Hell, he almost had me thinking I was crazy, but who's the crazy one now?" Cory said almost hysterically.

Bio:

I was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky. I’m a military brat that travelled a bit overseas and throughout many parts of the United States. I finally settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where I eventually got married and then divorced. I was blessed with two fantastic sons. As they grew up and became young men chasing their dreams, I felt that maybe now was the time for me to do the same. That’s when I started writing. Never in a million years did I expect to meet the most wonderful man in the world, move to Quebec, Canada, and get married. However, that is exactly what happened. JP has introduced me to things like; canoeing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and has taken me to some of the most beautiful locations. Ones that I had only ever seen on a computer or read about in books. I may miss my mountains and my boys, but have discovered that when you work towards your dreams, the future can be one filled with happiness and love. My boys are only a plane ride away, and Skype is a glorious thing. So I say, on to my next adventure…don’t be shocked to find it in one of my books.

W.I.P. Wednesdays - Not so Fair Tales 1

1/24/2018

Picture
It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to share another snippet from one of my Works in Progress! Today I’ve got a small sampling from Red’s Wolf: Not so Fair Tales 1. I’m still trying to decide how I want to publish this story when I finish it. I’ll let you know when I figure it out!

Red's Wolf: Not so Fair Tales 1:

Snippet

Picture
The screech of brakes and the blare of a horn jolted Garret from his musings in time to jump out of the way of an oncoming car. “Asshole!” He flipped the driver off, looked both ways this time, and proceeded to cross the street. Why he agreed to meet Ruby on this end of the city he couldn’t remember, but it probably had been a combination of her fast talking, batting eyelashes, and angelic smile that made him give in.

No matter the reason, he hated the glitz and glam of uptown. Everywhere he looked it reminded him of what was to come, and he didn’t need any more reminders. Ruby loved it, as was evident by the upscale coffee shop they were meeting at.

Ruby spotted him as he entered the posh establishment, and waved at him. Never seemed to fail, no matter how irritated he was with his twin sister, all he had to do was see that smile and it would all fade away. Her red hair, blue eyes, and delicate face drew anyone’s attention. She’d chosen a black shirt and a red blouse that showed off her slim petite figure perfectly.

Like her, Garret had red hair and blue eyes. He was also short and couldn’t gain weight or bulk up to save his life. He’d been teased about being a flat chested version of his sister throughout school. Thankfully he’d never let the haters get to him. He’d used his physic to his advantage and tailored a look to match it. He’d died the underside of his hair blond and often wore bright eyeshadow to draw attention to his best assets, his eyes.

His sister was gorgeous, but he was stunning.

“Garret.” Ruby stood and hugged him before he took of his dark red coat and placed it on a chair opposite hers. “Find the place alright?”

“I did,” Garret sighed. “Why are we meeting here again?”

“Because I love their vanilla lattes,” Ruby gushed. “And, you need a new suit for the gala tonight.”

“No, I don’t, because I’m not going,” Garret gently reminded her before placing an order via a touch pad on the table. A Chai sounded heavenly right now.

“You have to go!” Ruby whined. “They’re finally announcing the Wolff heir. You know what that means,” her voice took on a giddy quality.

Garret couldn’t be any less enthused. He knew exactly what that meant. Whichever of the Wolff sons were named heir would marry Ruby, so they could conceive an heir of their own. Garret would be bound to the remaining son. Both leftovers handed over to be dealt with in the quickest way possible.

It’s not like Isaak and Kilian were bad guys, well Isaak could probably be described as a bad boy by some, Garret just didn’t care! Sure, they were both tall, handsome, with devilishly good looks. There was more to life than hot men with muscular bodies and Greek god levels of manliness though.

“Garret, brother.” Ruby reached over the table and gripped his hand. Her red polish contrasted with his black in a complimenting way. “I want you to be happy.”

“And marrying one of the Wolff boys is going to make me happy?” Garret allowed his sarcasm to drip into each word.

Ruby sighed and sat back. She took a sip of her latte as Garret’s drink arrived. “I’m just saying, how about giving them a chance? You’ve been nothing but hostile to them since we first met.”

“When have I ever been hostile to either of them?” Garret demanded. He took a drink of his Chai and had to admit, this place was good!

Ruby’s expression clearly said she wasn’t buying his ignorance. “How about when Kilian wanted to push me on the swing and you staunchly refused him?”

“He didn’t know how high to push you,” Garret defended.

“And that time Isaak asked you to play tag?”

“Against a wolf boy? Please, no contest. It wouldn’t have been fair.”

“Then there was Kilian’s sweet sixteen.” Ruby grinned as Garret flinched. “That’s right, I still remember the fuss you made about going. In front of him.”

“You make me sound like a right bitch.”

“Because you act like one at times!” Ruby gaped. “I swear, you intentionally try and make them hate you.”

“It’s not like Isaak was any less entertaining,” Garret threw back at her. “What was it he used to call us when we came over? Oh right, curse order brides.”

Ruby flinched. “Yeah, okay, I’ll agree that hurt to hear.”

W.I.P. WEDNESDAYS - ITAYU LAKE 8

1/17/2018

Picture
Okay, welcome to my first segment of what I've named W.I.P. Wednesdays. Basically what this segment will be is me sharing a small snippet of one of my current works in progress, or W.I.P., with you. These snippets are largely unedited and so might have errors in the text. I apologize a head of time for this.

For this first week, I'm sharing with you all a snippet from Itáyu Lake 8, Photographic Heart.

Photographic Heart: Itayu Lake 8

Snippet

“Have you seen his wolf?” Kyle found himself asking.

Troy laughed. “It was the first side of him I got to see, and boy did it leave an impression.”

“A good one,” Galvin smirked.

Why did this conversation bring up imagines Kyle didn’t want? Hoping to banish them, he turned to Brannon and said, “So, show me.”

“Show you, what?” Brannon asked.

“Whatever it is that proves you’re an angelic,” Kyle reasoned. “If we’re mates, don’t you think I have the right to see it for myself?”

“Well, yeah, but.”

“But, what?”

“You’re taking this relatively well,” Brannon hedged.

“I’m freaking out internally. Now, show me,” Kyle insisted.

With a deep sigh, Brannon stood and stepped outside. Kyle quickly followed and felt his mouth go dry and his cock rise as Brannon took off his shirt and closed his eyes. A gentle light encased his back for a split second and then two large wings appeared.

“Wow,” Kyle gasped. Stepping passed the threshold he approached Brannon slowly. “Can I touch them?”

“Sure,” Brannon nodded.

Reaching out, Kyle ran his fingers down the soft pink feathers. “You know, when you said you were an angel, I expected your feathers to be white, not pink.”

“What?” Brannon shouted, followed by Bridget and Erin appearing in the door.

“Oh, Soare bless us,” Bridget gasped.

“Mother Goddess help us,” Erin gaped.

“What? What is it?” Kyle asked and looked at the three people around him. Brannon looked like he was now ready to faint while Erin and Bridget didn’t look any happier. “What is going on?”

“Well, I guess it’s time your human mate learned the different versions of the birds and bees too,” Bridget said, her tone an odd blankness.

“But, I thought it couldn’t happen the first time!” Brannon panicked.

“The first time,” Erin agreed. “How many times did you do it last night?”

Brannon’s face went bright red and Kyle felt embarrassment creep up as well with that question.

“I, we, well,” Brannon bit his bottom lip and wrapped his arms around himself. “Oh gods.”

“Can someone please tell me what is going on?” Kyle demanded. “What is wrong with Brannon? If his feathers aren’t supposed to be pink, than why are they?”

2018 Writing Goals

1/15/2018

So, I’ve been tossing around the idea of making writing goals for this year, especially considering I didn’t hold even close to the ones I made for 2017. Obviously I’ve decided to do it! Basically over the next year I’m going to try and write one book a month … or finish one book a month. I’ve created a schedule that I’m hoping will keep me going—if I look at it enough—and it has me looking like an insane person.
Picture
Honestly, I’d love to get ALL of those done this year, but in reality I’ll be happy if I get half of them done. It is important to note that these are writing goals, and not publication goals. The self-pub books, Tulsa Immortals and HBIA: Case Files will most likely be out within a month of two after being completed. The series published through Siren are whenever they schedule the books for release after accepting them.

Now, for a quick break down of the hopeful year to come. I feel sorry for my computer.

January (this month) I’ve already started on Itáyu Lake 8 Photographic Heart and I’ve shared a few teasers on my facebook pages. I’m pushing to have this book done by the end of the month and sent into Siren. I know a lot of people have been waiting for the next Itayu Lake book, so I’m working on it first. Next for this month is a new series called Not so Fair Tales. These are modern reimagining’s of classic fairy tales with an MM spin. I’ve revealed all three covers for the currently planned books on my facebook pages. And will share them on Twitter soon.

You will also find all revealed covers at the end of this blog.

February sees me finishing the first book in the Not so Fair Tales series and starting on my third installment in the Tulsa Immortals universe, Colby’s Biker. Again, cover has already been revealed on facebook. I’m hoping beyond hope to have Colby’s Biker out by April of this year, fingers crossed.

March is a full month because I’ve got THREE projects going on in it. Firstly, finishing up Colby’s Biker. Second, starting a secret project that will be revealed at a later time. Third, I’m going to start Cherry Matchmaker 2 in this month. So yeah, full month.

April, like March, is another month with three projects. I’ll be finishing up Cherry Matchmaker 2 and hopefully putting the final touches on the Secret project. I’m also planning to start Itáyu Lake 9. 2018 will be a good year for my Itáyu Lake series if I keep going strong.

May will be a return to the usual programming of two books a month with me finishing up Itáyu Lake 9 and starting Not so Fair Tales 2.

June should be the month I finish Not so Fair Tales 2 and start on HBIA: Case Files 2! That’s right, my half-breed cops and forensic alchemist should be returning this summer!! Also, I revealed the cover for HBIA 2 already as well.

July, obviously pushing to finished HBIA: Case Files 2 with the hopes of getting it out for everyone to read before the end of August. I’ll also be starting Cherry Matchmaker 3 this month.

August is going to be an easy month I hope with my finishing up the 3rd in the Cherry Matchmaker series and starting on Itáyu Lake 10.

September is pretty hot here so I’m hoping for another easy month with finishing up Itáyu Lake 10 and starting on my fourth edition into Tulsa Immortals, Levi’s God. I have NOT revealed a cover for Levi’s God yet.

October will have Levi’s God finishing with the hopes of having it out by the end of November in time for the holidays, maybe early December depending on what happens. I’m also going to be starting on my second Secret project this month.

November is the month I’ll finish up the second of my Secret projects and start on my third Not so Fair Tales.

This takes me right into December and I’m hoping to have the third Not so Fair Tales completed by the end of December. I’ve left myself open at the end of December to either start a new project or take some time off over the holidays to just breathe and get ready for the new year.

Again, this is a tentative list that I’m hoping to complete. The chances of me actually sticking to it are about as high as me winning the lottery and taking over the world by the end of the year. But, you never know! I encourage readers to continue to keep up to date with me by following me on Facebook and twitter, and of course dropping by my blog and website on a routine basis.

Looking forward to another amazing year, keep in touch.

Story Excerpt:

Picture
Zachary watched. It was all he ever did. Always watching. Always making sure things flowed in the right direction. Never stepping out of line, or changing the outcome of what should be in all matters, except one. He’d done literally everything in his power to fight this side of destiny. So why, why in the name of the Powers that be, was it showing its cards like this?

“Come again?” Zachary blinked at his mother and father.

“You are to marry, next month,” his father, George Bradford, declared with a rather pleased smirk across his face.

“To Lord and Lady Lucius’ first son, Titus,” his mother, Cathleen, rejoiced. “Isn’t that great news?”

For a second Zachary wondered if his parents honestly knew what “great news” truly was. Hearing you’d won the lottery was great news. Finding out he no longer had this cursed gift would be great news. Learning he was now engaged, via arranged marriage, to Titus Lucius was not great news.

“And if I refuse?” Zachary had to try. He doubted it would do him any good, but maybe his parents would listen to him for once.

“Don’t be silly.” Cathleen waved her hand as if shooing the idea of Zachary being against this match away. “You and Titus get along just fine. You were friends as children. I’m sure you’ll make a lovely couple.”

“Who said I’m even gay?” Okay, yeah, a ridiculous argument, especially when one took his dating history into account. But again, he had to try. The looks his parents gave him said they weren’t even going to argue that point as it was. “Okay, fine.” Zachary rolled his eyes. “How about the fact Titus isn’t my type?”

“Oh, honey.” Cathleen stood and moved to sit beside him on the opposite couch. “This isn’t about type, trust me. You think your father was my type when I was chosen to marry him?”

He did not need another reminder of how much his parents didn’t love each other. At least not in the way a husband and wife should. They were the best of friends, with zero passion romantically or sexually. Zachary still couldn’t understand how they’d stomached sleeping with each other enough times to produce him and his younger three siblings.

“This is an archaic practice!” Fine, reason and logic weren’t going to work; he might as well play the temper tantrum card along with the antique backup plan. “Why should I be subjected to this outdated custom that no one follows anymore?”

“Because gay marriage is legal now,” his father answered smoothly. “And because we said so.”

“Why now?” Zachary growled out between clenched teeth.

His parents sighed, his mother moving back to sit beside his father. “After the discovery of the snake hiding in our very own family, the other noble houses are a bit concerned about the state of things.” His mother poured herself a cup of tea, no doubt with some brandy or whiskey added to it. “It’s been decided that the four high princes, you and your cousins, are to be wed to members of the noble houses. The hope is that by strengthening our bonds via marriage with the noble houses, the royal family may regain some credibility in their eyes. As you know, they don’t hold us any solid loyalty, so this is a political maneuver to solidify the ties unifying all of us to keep the balance. It should also help calm everyone until a new Royal Seer is found, and true balance can be restored.”

“What about the others?” Zachary demanded.

“Well, seeing as Daniel, Marcus, and William are already in romantic relationships, this isn’t being brought to their attention,” his mother admitted.

“It doesn’t hurt their partners are of the noble houses, I’m guessing?” Zachary taunted.

“Correct.” His father smiled. “You are the only one of the four that is single, so we were approached by multiple houses about making a match. We chose the one we felt was best suited for you.”

“Well.” Zachary stood and moved for the door. “You chose wrong!”

Without waiting to hear his parents’ reply, Zachary stormed out of the manor with his familiar, Flora, flying after him and calling in worry. He couldn’t fucking believe it! His parents were trying to marry him off!

Forget for a moment that it was Titus Lucius he was now betrothed to, the one person in both the realms he’d been avoiding like the plague. Just the fact his parents thought this was going to fix the problem left behind by Queen Rebecca’s, now known as Runa Gunvald’s, betrayal was ludicrous and ignorant to the highest degree!

“I call on wind,” Zachary chanted. “Carry me home.”

Flora screeched as she landed on his shoulder right before a gust of wind wrapped around him and whisked him off his family’s property and back to his own house.

Adult Excerpt:

Picture
Unable to resist, Titus leaned in and took control, pinning Zachary to the wall and invading his mouth with an urgency that was consuming him. Zachary responded readily, pulling him close and opening his mouth to his assault. He even gave back. Their tongues dueled, and breaths mixed as they both sought the other out in a way beyond reason.

Titus’s leg slid between Zachary’s, grinding up against his erection and milking a moan from his love. Zachary thrust against Titus’s leg, filling the space between them with the most adorable moans and whimpers. With each downward grind or breathed gasp, Titus’s cock jerked in the confines of his pants.

“Zach,” Titus growled. He reached between them and undid Zachary’s pants. Zachary whined, urging him on. Reaching into his pants, Titus wrapped his hand around Zachary’s cock and pumped him fast and hard. It was a pace meant to bring Zachary to the edge as quickly as possible, and he was begging for it.

“Titus,” Zachary groaned and bit Titus’s lip. “Oh fuck!” he shouted before he jerked and came in Titus’s hand.

Titus withdrew his hand and licked up the evidence of Zachary’s passion. He watched Zachary closely as he trembled against the wall. Oh yeah, they were so not done.

“Get on the bed. Now,” Titus ordered, his voice heavy with need.

* * * *

Zachary tried to make the short journey to his bed gracefully, but with his pants falling further and further down with each step he took, he ended up tripping and landing face-first onto the mattress. Mentally cursing himself, Zachary moved to flip over, but a steady hand on his back prevented the movement.

“No, stay like that,” Titus growled and Zachary shivered. The effect Titus’s voice had on him had to be illegal, somewhere. Titus’s hand traveled from its place on his back to his ass, curving around the cheek and flexing just enough to cause a small amount of a sting, but nothing uncomfortable. “So perfect.”

Pushing back against that hand, Zachary tried to keep some of his head. He wasn’t a fool, he knew where this was going, and if he continued to allow it, it would be impossible to say there was nothing between them. Knowing that, he didn’t want to stop it. Zachary was tired of denying himself what he truly wanted. This moment, just for right now, he wanted to be with Titus. He’d worry about what came next later.

A finger slid beneath the elastic of his boxers and into the crack of his ass. Zachary bit his bottom lip as Titus slowly pulled his boxers down, his fingers traversing that path, sliding deeper as he went. The tip grazed his hole, and he damn near wept when the pressure went as soon as it came. The fleeting touch was not enough!

“Titus,” Zachary groaned, pushing his ass back against his hand.

“Patience,” Titus teased.

Zachary moaned in frustration, his forehead pressing against the mattress. For someone that could see the future, when it came to certain things, Zachary wasn’t the most patient person in the world. Being denied during sex, at any stage, was one of those things.

Finally, Titus pulled Zachary’s boxers down to his pants and off his legs. His shoes and socks went with his discarded clothes. Next, his lover reached for his shirt, but instead of just pulling it off, Titus slid his hands up along Zachary’s sides, pushing the shirt up as he went. When he came to Zachary’s chest he was already trembling. Zachary expected him to push the material over his shoulders. He didn’t. Titus reached around and pinched each of Zachary’s nipples, teasing them into tight pebbles and making him flinch. Titus continued to tease Zachary as he leaned over him, rubbing his clothed cock against his ass.

“Oh, fuck, no fair,” Zachary whined, pushing his ass back against Titus’s erection.

“I’ve been waiting years for this,” Titus taunted, his tongue tracing Zachary’s ear. “Let’s enjoy ourselves.”

Now, how did Zachary deny that kind of request? “At least take off your pants!”

“I will.”

Titus chose that moment to finish removing Zachary’s shirt. As he drew back to toss the shirt aside, he also undid his own pants and pushed them down. Next, he stripped out of his own shirt so when he leaned back over Zachary they were touching skin to skin. Titus’s cock slid against Zachary’s crease, pressing in but not breaching deep enough.

“Tell me what you want, Zach,” Titus breathed into his ear, his fingers returned to teasing his nipples. “Tell me how you want me to take you.”

By the Powers! Zachary bit his bottom lip as he tried to make his brain stop misfiring. He pulled several deep gulps of air into his lungs. “Bareback, and now!”

Titus chuckled. “I didn’t plan to wear a condom from the start. As for that other part, you’re being rather impatient, aren’t you?”

“Titus,” Zachary growled when he felt his lover pull away.

“Easy now.” Titus rubbed his hands up and down Zachary’s back to let him know he hadn’t gone too far. “Where is your lube?”

“Oh, right.” Zachary perked up and scampered across his bed to the table on the other side. He opened the drawer, snatched up the three-quarters-full bottle, and reversed back to his previous spot.

“Well, that was sexy.” Titus’s voice was a low rumble as he accepted the bottle and nipped at Zachary’s ass. “Seeing your ass wiggle around like that, damn, are you trying to make me hotter?”
